An early 19c eight day longcase clock , the 13" arched painted dial signed W Hepton, N Allerton and having figures depicting the Continents to the corners and a domestic scene of parents and their child in the arch. It has Arabic numerals and matched brass hands. The movement is of standard construction, rack striking on a bell. The mahogany case has a flat top hood with fretted pediment and central finial (detached and a/f) and the hood columns have Corinthian capitals. The trunk has attached quarter columns and the long trunk door has a crossbanded edge and twin pointed top. The base is plain and without a plinth, 89" tall overall.

A late 18c thirty hour longcase clock , the 11" square brass dial signed Sam Pearce, Honiton and having scroll spandrels to the corners and an engraved centre. The birdcage movement is two handed countwheel striking and chain driven. The plain oak case has been re-carved later and has a square top hood with later added swan neck pediment. The hood columns are plain and the long trunk door is now profusely carved with floral motifs as is the surround and the base. The clock has bracket feet, 82" tall overall.
