It is contained in a gull winged leather covered travelling case, 3.5" x 3".

A late 19c French carriage clock in glazed brass obis type case. The movement has a cylinder platform escapement and going and alarm trains, the alarm working on a bell beneath the movement. The rectangular white enamel dial has Roman numerals to both the chapter ring and alarm set ring, 6" tall overall.

An early 20c French mantel clock in round topped mahogany case, inlaid with boxwood stringing and a roundel below the dial with tulip design, the case has brass ball feet and the circular movement strikes on a gong and has a 4.5"diam white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and plain spade hands, 10" tall overall.

A late 19c German bracket clock in round topped walnut case with stepped base and fluted columns flanking the 6" arched brass dial which has brass floral spandrels to corners and arch and a silver chapter ring with Gothic Arabic numerals. The three train barrelled spring movement quarter chimes on four straight rods and hour strikes on a fifth. There is a chime/silent lever on the side of the case, 18.5" tall overall.

A late 18c English fusee dial clock, the 12" diameter silvered dial signed Delafons, Royal Exchange, London and having Roman numerals with Arabic outer minute figures. The single fusee movement has verge escapement, 'A' shaped plates and four knopped pillars and is contained in a mahogany salt box case with ribbed mahogany bezel and heavy cast and ribbed brass bezel with convex glass, 15" diameter overall.

A late 18c eight day longcase clock, the 12" arched brass dial signed Richard Gunter, London and having a silvered centre and chapter ring and silvered strike/silent dial in the arch. The dial has seconds and date rings (hands missing), matched steel hands and floral corner spandrels. The five pillar movement has anchor escapement and is rack striking, the strike has been converted later from barrel to a gong. It is contained in a mahogany case with pagoda topped hood which has three brass finials and brass reeded fluted columns flanking the dial. The long trunk door has an arched top and raised edge moulding a well figured veneer. The base has an indented raised moulding and a double plinth with shaped lower edge, 95" tall overall.

A mid 19c eight day longcase clock, the 13" arched painted dial signed John Low, Arbroath and having figures depicting the Continents in the corners and the depiction of a Royal visit in the arch. The dial has seconds and date rings and matched brass hands. The movement is rack striking on a bell (hammer detached) and is contained in a mahogany case with swan neck pediments and central ball and eagle finial to the hood. There are fluted columns flanking the dial and the trunk has fluted quarter columns flanking the short rectangular trunk door which has a fixed panel below, both with boxwood line inlay and darker crossbanding to the edges. The base has a circular inset of veneer and darker mahogany crossbanding, the plinth is missing, 79" tall overall.

A mid 19c thirty hour longcase clock, the 13" arched painted dial signed J H Mercer, Appleby and having architectural scenes in the corners and a woman harvesting corn in the arch. The hands are matched brass, the plated thirty hour movement is chain driven with countwheel striking on a bell. It is contained in a broad Northern mahogany case with swan neck pediments to the hood and baluster columns flanking the dial. The trunk has baluster half columns flanking the short trunk door which has a wavy top and central panel of light oak veneer. The large base has an octagonal panel of matching oak veneer and a half round moulding for a plinth, 83" tall overall.
